Dear Lisa, I was very late today getting slide show up today! I did not know what music I was going to use. I decided on "Snow" by Loreena McKennitt from her album "To Drive the Winter Cold Away." It was a new cd I bought in Portland. I plan on continuing Slide Show Fridays in 2008. Glad you look forward to them. I enjoy making them. Sherry
Dear Mari-Nanci, The yard was full of Cardinals today. I was pleased! Our overnight snowfall was only a couple of inches. It is a beautiful snow too. Hopefully it will stay around for a few days so I can get out into the woods. Glad you liked this little Cardinal show. Sherry
Dear Miss Sandy, Thank you! Since I was gone all week I did not have very many photos of my backyard birds. The Cardinals helped out! Having snow was also a nice help. Blue skies today! I think I shall go walking soon. I would like to check on the little pond in the woods. May 2008 be a banner year for you. Sherry
Dear Saucy, The song "Snow" is very pretty. Once you get speakers you can come back and listen if you would like to. I enjoy Loreena McKennitt. SHe has a lovely voice. I am beginning my review of 2007 and planning 2008. I know I will be finding fun each day. Hope we can play together in the new year. Sherry
Dear Jayne, Thank you! I love that you found the magic in the slide show! Backyard birds and snow are joyful. Hugs, Sherry, who is smiling and giggling
Dear Sue, I study different cultures through out the year and I am hoping to share some of my favorite music! Now to get the birds to cooperate. Looking forward to 2008. Sherry
Dear Chris, The Cardinals do not change colour in the winter at all. The females are rather camouflaged with their soft brown but the males stand out very brightly. I seem to take lots of photos of the males! Our snows come and melt and come again. I guess the males hide better when the snow is melted! They are pretty birds. Sherry

Wow, long video of all of my favorite birdies! Wonderful job and perfect for Friday!
Your photography is pure poetry! I especially love the birds, such awesome creatures. This was a beautiful post!
Have sweet and happy holidays. I don't have speakers right now but in my imagination the music was wonderful!
Magical Sherry... just magical.
Dear Monarch,
It is a long song! LOL! I kept going outside to get enough photos to get to the end. These are Cardinal days!
Glad you liked it.

Beautiful, Sherry :-) I always wonder at the colour of your cardinals in the snow! Don't they change colour at all to follow the seasons!
