Yes?

Tap-tap-tap.
Tap-tap-tap.
Tap-tap-tap.

I was in my office.
I was working on a Christmas project,
just listening to music and scanning away.

Tap-tap-tap.
Tap-tap-tap.
Tap-tap-tap.

Finally she got my attention.

Oh dear, she was out of nuts.
"Okay, let me get my boots and my coat.
I need my leg warmers and my hat and gloves.
Hang on, it will take me a minute."

Poor little girl was hungry. That curtain of icesicles on the feeder is pretty.

This is downright funny. We are SLAVES to these lovely creatures.

Dear Lisa,
I had left the birds to themselves for awhile. I just needed a break from all the crazy comings and goings. I could not see Miss Red Bellied and I thought it was a Downy or a Hairy peeking on the ice. When I finally went into the livingroom and saw it was the female Red Bellied I actually began to laugh. The large nut feeder was empty. There are three nut feeders but she likes this one.
When all I did was take photos she turned her back to me and went to the seed feeder. She took a seed out and threw it on the ground!
I got so tickled. I did refill the large nut feeder. She came right to it too. They watch me. I watch them.
LOL.
I usually think miss Red Bellied is shy. Not anymore.

Dear Mary,
Yes, we are slaves! My husband says, "The wildlife just has their way with you!" He is right. Anything the birds need I go get for them. He also thinks they eat better than we do.
They do too.
They are worth it.

Hi Tom,
They do have me at their beak and call!
The Cardinals have their way of getting my attention. They just come up to the office window and tap on the window. They really do know me. I fall over myself to meet all of their needs.
They are worth every minute.
These female Red Bellied photos were through the window. I did wash the windows but they are dirty again!

Awwwww...isn't she pretty!

Dear Jayne,
She is pretty! There are two males and two females that come to the peanuts.
I think one of the females is a kid from last spring.
Having this pair around now all year is very exciting to me.
Not as shy as they used to be.
