The Doves have already begun pairing up.
A pair of Red Tailed Hawks hunted low in the trees.

The light today was soft.
The sky was clear and yet I did not the glare of winter's noon day sun. I stayed outside as long as I could today. The temps warmed to 40 degrees! Slowly we will get to the 60's.
Hope your sleet and snow did not cause any harm in your gardens.

Spring migration has begun on the gulf. It will be a month before the Hummers and the Orioles return to me.

Oh, Mary hummers so soon!A very nice way to celebrate spring.I bet you will be already for them too. How exciting. Ours return around the middle of April.
Mockingbird has a mate. She is in the front yard most of the time. I am watching her out the office window right now.

I too am looking forward to warm evenings. I hope to go walking with my husband at twilight and watch fireflies again.
The longer daylight makes a huge difference too. Still too cold and wet to do anything in the gardens.
Your parade of flowers has already begun. I am waiting for mine. I do not mind waiting.
I have my spring rejuvenation program started. I leave for my spa time on the 17th! I am excited about going.

I am watching a pair of Robins hunt for worms this morning. The ground is still frozen! I hope they find breakfast.
The light tells me Spring is about even though the temperature says, "Winter".
I am ready for some variation!
