My husband and I sat outside
on the deck after supper.
The White-throated Sparrow likes these leaves on the side patio.
I just might leave them for another week.
The Purple Finches have mated.on the deck after supper.

The Cardinals have all paired up too.
Mockingbird has a mate.
He sings and sings and sings!
The morning chorus is divine as is the evening serenade.

Greetings Q,
You have a nice blog here - I'm glad I found it.
Mockingbird here has a particulary amusing look.
Isn't it fun to be able to comfortably sit outside. I just love it when it is like this.
So much bird song and happiness these days! Welcome, welcome spring!
What lovely photographs Sherry. The last bird looks as though he could almost speak to you.
Mr Practical and I had supper outside last night. It was the first time this year. It was so enjoyable.
Today it is cold damp and misty.
Oh to be in England now that spring is here!!!
Isn't it fun to see the birds in "pairs"!
Dear Aluajala,
Thank you! I enjoy doing the photo essay.
Mockingbird is a funny bird. He is my friend.
I am looking forward to reading your journal.

Dear Lisa,
I so enjoy being outside! Spring evenings are the beginning of delightful times on the deck.
My husband and I will enjoy the Orioles and the Hummingbirds now!
I too love it!

Dear Jayne,
It is a joyful time of year!
I bet your chorus is heavenly too. The Blue Birds alone would be divine!

Dear Cheryl,
Eating outside is one of the joys of Spring. I love being outside.
I have spring showers coming in as I type.
Mockingbird does speak to me often...Mostly he wants rasins.
I love his song.
Sherry
Dear Deb,
It is fun to see them paired up and nesting. I am looking forward to little ones before too long!
