Daffodils

The cooler temperatures
have given the daffodils a long bloom time this spring.

I just love the pictures of the daffs. Ours are still blooming too. It is amazing how long they are blooming this year. Like you said it is probably because of the cool temps.

Dear Lisa,
Thank you!
I have watched the daffs for a couple of weeks now. When the sun back lights them I think they look so pretty. I was hoping to do an artsy series of Daffodils this year.
Now that I feel better I am willing to sit with the flowers and wait for the perfect light! My neighbors must wonder why I am just sitting in my front yard!
I am enjoying this cooler, slower Spring.

Dear Cathy,
Thank you. Doing the daffodil sampler has been an idea I have been working on for a week. Now I have the energy to do it!
I hope to be able to do tulips too!

Dear Barbara,
Your gardens are farther along in bloom time than mine. I enjoyed your Daffodil sampler from last week. I have more varieties. Maybe I can do something indoors with them. Rain is suppose to come to in this afternoon. Looks as if I could have a couple of days of clouds. Having a few more bouquets of Daffodils inside might be a good idea.

Dear Cheryl,
Thank you.
Being excited about taking pictures yesterday was very fun. I missed that excitment when I was sick.
I see the Mason Bees are starting to stir at your house! I can barely wait for them to emerge! This is very exciting!

I have never seen daffodils with orange centers and yellow petals - they are stunning. I was checking up on our bulbs yesterday and it will be a few more weeks before the daffs bloom :-}

Dear Chris,
Thank you! I do take pictures of the flowers each year. I was hoping this year to do something "artsy". That meant light! Glad you enjoyed this series.

Dear Deb,
I have many different types of daffodils. Seems to be one bulb the squirrels leave alone!!
You will enjoy your daffodils when they bloom. I am hoping this year to do artistic photos of the spring flowers.
Coming up with ways to showcase their beauty is fun.
