I am so happy I looked at this early this morning. It is such an uplifting video Sherry.

Raining here again, or should I say still. UGH.. It is supposed to clear up this weekend for a few days. I certainly hope so.

Such fun having a red-bellied woodpecker nest to watch.

Dear Lisa,
So glad you liked this. I was very pleased with bthe way this one turned out. One of my favorites.
The Red Bellies are so fun to watch. I saw babies last year too.
My husband told me about another storm system that was headed your way last night. Your gardens mucst be soaked! Hope you are not flooded.
Spring rains can cause so much damage.
Hope you do get a break and some sunshine.

Thank goodness it is Friday :-) Great photos - love the woodpeckers, we have never seen one in our garden. Hope you don't get too much rain, we are forecast snow for Sunday! I simply don't believe it :-)

Beautiful! I so enjoyed this one - but I've never had an 'unfavorite'. Grin. Have a nice weekend!

What a lovely Friday post Sherry. From crocus to cardinal! Your woodpeckers have been busy. We were thrilled to spot a pair of woodpeckers at the suet basket this evening :-} More and more birds are coming to our garden! I feel like pesky paparazzi with my camera snapping pictures of them...I think they are all getting used to it now :-}
Have a wonderful weekend.

Dear Chris,
Snow??? That is so silly. All Winter you waited for snow and now with Spring in full bloom at your house they forecast snow...What is Mother Nature thinking???
I hope it goes way north of you.
Cheryl in Kent, also is expecting snow. I looked at the map of England and I see she is east of you. May both of your gardens stay warm!
Glad you enjoyed this slide show. In my Field Guide to the Birds of Britain, I looked up the different woodpeckers in your area. Your Lesser Spotted and Middle Spotted and Great Spotted are similiar to my Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers.
I do not see any Red Bellies in Europe. Your large Black Woodpeckers are very handsome!
Stay warm this weekend.
Sherry

Dear Sue,
Oh, I am so happy you enjoy the videos. They are fun. I like this music. Cloude Bolling is my favorite and I love everything he does!
Have your snows melted? I am hoping to get outside this weekend and do some flowerbed clean up.

Dear Deb,
I am so excited for you and your family! Seeing all the different birds is fun! Woodpeckers are friendly. Do you have the small Downy Woodpeckers? I think they are sweet. Once they find your suet and peanuts they will stay near.
Your gardens are becoming a bird haven! I will pop over and see if you were able to post a few woodpecker photos. How very fun!
Bird songs,
Sherry

Thank you Sherry....just having afternoon tea, it fitted the mood very nicely. Very very pretty.
It is raining ice at the moment and the snow is still moving this way, sigh.

Dear Cheryl,
So sorry to hear it is raining ice at your house...I understand the dissapointment and the concern for the plants. Hope your bees are okay. I am sure you are taking very good care of them.
The weather has become so very unpredictable. I am concerned too.
Hope my little slide show offered a few smiles.
Hugs across the sea,
Sherry

Dear Tom,
Slide shows are fun to do. I will get a digital video camera one of these days. For now I am still learning my still camera. The slide shows give me an extra way to share the week!
Hope your weekend was filled with birds!
