I wanted to take pictures again.
I wanted to be one with the violets.
I am feeling much better.
Thank you for all your well wishes.
They helped me keep a sunny disposition while I was fighting the virus.
Today I hope to walk and check the gardens.
My camera is close at hand.

The 'fosted' violets are so pretty.
The violet leaves have emerged in my yard, but I am waiting for the flowers.
I'm sorry to read that you have been unwell, and hope you are soon 100%.
hugs
xx
So beautiful and lovely.
I hope you feel better.
Love Jeanne
Glad to hear you are at last feeling better Sherry. You have flickered across my mind during this time. I am a great believer in the power of thought.
The wild violets look as though they have been frosted with sugar, exquisite.
How sweet the little violets are with the frosting!
I have violets in my garden, but they never flower- I have no idea why. I also have native violets, which are little purple & white flowers. I must try to take some pics.
So glad you are feeling better!
Oh your poor violets and they are beautiful too.

Oh how beautiful!
And as I said elsewhere, I'm so glad you are feeling better!
My mom got a frost this day, too. She lives in northeastern Oklahoma, not too far from the borders of Kansas, and Arkansas. Most of her stuff was fine, but she lost her tomatoes.
Glad to hear you are feeling better.
I hope your frost was light and not so damaging as last year. It makes for pretty pics though. May be blue skies may follow and the sun will warm you.
These pictures could have been taken in our garden this morning (tuesday). We have frost and cold temps this morning.
Dear Shelia,
I look forward to the violets. I think they are very pretty.
I have a white violet too that is wild. Sometimes in the Autumn the violets reemerge and they are food for the little butterflies.
I think I am over the virus...not 100% sure but I feel much, much better!
I have not been over to see you in at least a week. I shall pop over and see how you are doing.
Sherry
Dear Jeanne,
Thank you!
I am feeling better.
I will take it a bit slow and easy just in case a bit of virus is lingering. I hope to walk again today. The sun is bright this morning.
Spring has been so slow this year.
I do not mind I have enjoyed each opening.
Sherry
Dear Cheryl,
I too beleive in the power of thought. I often have remarked that if humans only knew how powerful their thoughts were they would watch what they are thinking!
I am thinking I am so grateful to you, my bee friend! Thank you for your thoughts.
Years ago when my children were little I would make sugar violets for them. I would decorate their lunch plate with all sorts of edible flowers.
Now I just nibble a flower with out the sugar!
Sherry
Dear Meggie,
I would enjoy seeing your native violets. We both are in lovely weather time, you autumn, me spring! My wild violets bloom in the autumn too.
I miss visiting!
Maybe this afternoon I can take a break and come see you.
Sherry
Dear Cathy,
No worries. The violets were not harmed. The early blooming wild flowers seem to do okay with late frosts. I did bring my dish garden in!
Sherry
Dear Mari-Nanci,
Thank you! I was happy to be inspired to take some pretty pictures!
I do feel better.
Glad to be back with my camera.
Sherry
Dear Gardenpath,
I would have lost tomatoes too!
I do not put them into the garden until May 1st.
Hopefully spring will be gentler as the month unfolds.
Thank you for the well wishes.
Sherry
Dear Chris,
The frost was light and our spring is not as advanced as last year. It is pretty when iy is on the flowers that do not mind a little dusting! My blooms are slow coming this year but they are coming!
It feels warm in the sun.
Hope your gardens are warming up too.
Sherry
Dear Lisa,
It has been a cold April!
Sunshine this morning in my backyard.
I am hoping to get outside and at least get some photos today.
I have not visited you in a couple of days. I think I will pop over and see how you are doing.
Sherry
