Your sure are pinked up Sherry. I love the pink mocassins. Our Bleeding heart looks like it barely made it through the drought last year. It is pitaful.
Oh yes yes yes, Happy Pink Full Moon to you too, dear heart. Those bleeding hearts knock me out!
I have some flowering also and they are all flower, not much leaves this year!
I hate to ask, but I don't know . . . is there really such a thing as a Pink Moon, like there is a Blue Moon . . ? or is that a Poetic Q speaking to me?
Minnetonkas? I love them, wore out my last ones... We're due for 2-3 more inches of snow tonight so I'm still waiting for flowers of any color - yours are so beautiful. Guess I'll just have to get my floral fix right here.
Dear Mark, I am an all natural sort of lady! LOL!!!Have not worn nail polish for many years!! I like a natural buff for toenails. The pink mocs are about as wild as I get any more. I do wish manufacturers would do low impact dyes...I bet I have some flowers that could dye shoes pink. At least I know if I get into the grass with my pink mocs they will get "grass stained" forever! I was stepping into the grass just throwing caution to the wind! This is me being a "Wild Spring" thing! Happy Full Pink Moon, Sherry
Dear Cheryl, Thank you! So glad your Bleeding Hearts are reblooming. Mine did that last year too. The plants are smaller this year but they are heavy with blooms. I am still waiting on my white bleeding heart. I do not know if it will come back. The frost last year did nip it badly. This spring I am looking for what really made it from last years heavy frosts. I will be removing the dead and planting with native to my area plants. My gardens are becoming more wild this year... Brave girl I am to waer my pink mocs in the grass! Lots of honey bees! Bzzzz Sherry
Dear Lisa, Last year was very hard on all the plants. Hope your Bleeding Hearts rebound and grow back. I have the mocs in blue too. LOL I do not wear very much pink or purple but in April, my pink month, I do try and stay color coordinated! In the pink, Sherry
Dear Becky, The Bleeding Hearts are always so pretty. I too love them even if they are not native to my area! I also never see many bugs near them! Maybe they are here to help us remember to love! The American Indians named April's Full Moon, Full "Pink" I read it was after all the spring blooms. A couple of years ago I named the new moons! April's is the "New Bee Moon"! Happy Moons...in the pink and in the glow of Spring's pink light, Sherry
Dear Mary, Wow, your grass has been growing for sometime now! We decided to wait one more week before mowing. The wild violets are in full bloom and they look so pretty. The dandilions are also in full bloom. Our mutil-cultural lawn looks very nice I think with hen-bit and violets and dandies... The bees do love the wild lawn flowers. Happy Full Pink Moon, Mary... May her glow fill you with laughter! Hugs, Sherry
Dear Sue, Yes!!! Minnetonkas! I have many pairs! I have them in blue too. I have worn moccasins for many, many years. My favorite are the ones I get from the Canadian First Nations Ladies. My pink Minnetonkas only come out in April! Oh Sue, more snow??? Beyond winter weary. When you have flowers you will be so delighted...I will be delighted for you as well. Let's see, I will send Pink Sky Light, Aurora Borealis for you! That would be exciting and pink and pretty... Sherry
Dear Karen, They are not native to my area but I do love the Bleeding Hearts! I have never seen any bugs on the Bleeding Hearts. Like Tulips they must be people pleasing plants! Mine came back last year and rebloomed after being nipped by a week of heavy frost. Great plants! Sherry
Dear Marvin, It is a pink time of year! I bet your trees are in leaf by now. You are somewhat south of me and my Mapels are just now beginning to leaf out. Pink is good! Sherry
Dear Mari-Nanci, I had even more pink blooms! The creeping phlox is blooming. I keep hoping to see a butterfly gathering nectar fron it like I saw last year! It makes for a pretty picture! Sherry

What a pretty pink post. Bleeding hearts, so romantic, mine have come back after being hit by a terrible frost. Amazing.

You make me laugh. We did our fourth grass cutting today but I'm not chasing butterflies, Sherry! It's still kind of chilly. No bees today, either!
Darn!
Love the pink.
Dearest Sherry,
Those flowers are beautiful!! I'm so glad your Spring is finally there!
ENJOY :D

Dear Jeanne,
I am so pleased you love pink. My Mother loved pink. I think she would have loved a pink car!

Sherry, we think alike.
I just realized we both posted pink feet on the same day. It's because it was a Full Pink Moon!!!!!
The bleeding hearts are so gorgeous. I think I need to go the nursery and buy some.
Hooray for spring -- and pink.
Happy Full Pink Moon Sherry.
I'm so happy you had all this pink, for the Pink Moon!

Full Pink Moon girls we are!!!
I am thinking about looking for a pink hat to go with my pink shoes.
April's pinks bring May's blues!
