For me Sherry that is one of the best posts I have seen for a long time. The dew, with the sun shining thru it and then with the insect for me is absolutely stunning. Then to capture such a pure and sweet butterfly. But you havn't finished, then comes such a breathtaking bird. You have swept me away tonight Sherry, you really have.

I am finding my strength again in Mother Nature. The entire universe can be seen in a dew drop!
I do believe the best medicine is in the eyes of a butterfly, the buzz of a bee and the song of the birds. I had a couple of wild violets while I was sitting in the grass. They were dew kissed and very yummy!

We get the occasional oriole too.
It's wonderful that yours return at the same time each year. I think ours just pass through as we don't see them every year.

I looked out this morning and I saw the white Lilac bush is in full bloom. We had a huge thunderstorm again last night. The Thunder must have shook the blooms open! I hope it warms up a bit today so i can open the windows and fill the house with Lilac scent...
Do try the jelly, the Orioles love it, as do other song birds...

Three years ago I decided to try a Baltimore Oriole feeder. I was so very happy when an Oriole found me! Last year a dozen came so I put out lots more oranges and started the grape jelly. The Orioles loved the jelly. I bought a second Oriole feeder this spring.
I turn the back Ash tree into my Oriole tree.
Put some oranges out and have some grape jelly in the cupboard, just in case. Orioles could come to you and stay to nest!
