When I raised the blinds this morning
a male Baltimore Oriole was waiting for me.
He watched me do my deep breathing.a male Baltimore Oriole was waiting for me.
He watched as I set my intent for the day.
Today I took care of myself a wee bit before I took care of the birds.

I have never seen a Baltimore Oriole before (other than on the baseball diamond). He is gorgeous! Your hummingbird photos from Sunday are fantastic as well; I don't know how you managed to capture one sitting still on a branch.

So orange he is! I wish we had such colorful birds here. I miss bright colors very much.

Normally I scoot right outside in the mornings so the birds do not have to wait on me. I decided it would be okay to take care of me first.
The birds did not mind one bit!
The Baltimore Orioles also sing beautifully.

LOL!! I will tell them. I have a nice flock here. Maybe if more birds came to the games the Orioles would quickly be number one. At least they would have sold out games.

The Hummingbirds do perch up. Once they are use to me they perch up near by. I sit quietly and zoom in!

The birds come to the feeders. I have lots of feeders!
Some do nest here.
The Orioles come for oranges, necter and grape jelly. I also put grapes out for them. I wish they would nest here. I have seen pictures of their nests and they are amazing.
Lots of the birds are migratory so they only stay the spring and summer.
I do look forward to all of them returning.
