The rains over night once again filled the bird baths
and the butterfly puddlers.
I watched as the Red Spotted Purple
drank water from the leaves of the Forsythia.
A June Beetle swam in one of the bird baths.and the butterfly puddlers.
I watched as the Red Spotted Purple
drank water from the leaves of the Forsythia.
I watched as he swam to the edge of the pool
and climbed out.
A Carpenter Bee gathered pollen from a Day Lily.
As the sun rose so did the temperature.
It is hot and humid.
The air is filled with moisture and bugs.

Lovely Sherry.......
Beautiful butterfly, couldn't you just sit and watch them for ages and ages.
I love the little beetle swimming....what a wonderful capture......
And finally the bee.....aren't we lucky Sherry to find such beautiful creatures in our gardens.....
Send some rain to Kent please it will be so appreciated by all but most of all me.......
All wonderful, but my favorites are the butterfly and the bee.
It's great to catch some action after a rain...but it sure gets humid this time of year. We get so many beetles in the water...I guess they appreciate it.
It is humid here too, it never is... I quite am liking it as I grow accustomed to it, knowing the winter will be cold and dry.
Sherry it seems we are getting similar sitings in our wet rained out gardens!Lovely captures of all the bugs.
Oh so beautiful and lovely indeed.
Blessings
I could just feel the humidity as I looked at the rian on those leaves. It was hot and humid here too.
Loved looking at your photos. Very peaceful way to start a Monday morning. Thanks
Marnie
Well, glad the junebug enjoyed his new pool. Too bad it didn't stay around for long.
Beautiful....
That swimming beetle makes me smile. It's been buggy here, too, with unusual humidity. But that's good.
Dear Cheryl,
I love watching the butterflies. I seem to forget everything else when I am out with them.
Little Bee is my dearest of bug friends. We are lucky!
Lots of fun.
I would love to share some of the rain we have been receiving. Too much really for one week. Last night we had over 5 inches of rain!!
Strange weather.
Happy bug hunting,
Sherry
Dear Wren,
Thank you. I was pleased to see the bee in the Day Lily. I seldom see bugs in them so it was a treat!
Sherry
Dear Chris,
I was amazed the June Bug swam to the edge and climbed out. For some reason I thought the June Bugs drowned in the water.
It is so humid! My clothes are wet within five minutes of being outside.
I expect tomorrow will be terrible...oh well, it is July in the Mid-west. I am grateful it is a wet summer rather than a dry one.
Sherry
Dear Saucy,
It has been too long since I have visited! I shall pop over later and catch up.
Hope you are feeling well.
Hot anbd humid is July's weatehr most years. Lots of rain this year so extra humid!
Sherry
Dear Anna,
You have wet too? Flooding all around me. So far all is okay in my backyard.
Feet up and relax. I cannot get out in the garden now for at least a few days while everything dries out a bit.
Sherry
Dear Jeanne,
Thank you.
Bugs are great!
Sherry
Dear Lisa,
I have been sending my blessings to California. The fires are terrible! I am glad we have moisture.
I am looking for a walking stick bug. I have not seen one yet this year.
Sherry
Dear Marnie,
I am so glad you enjoyed the pictures.
Cheryl, Chris and I do a bug hunt every week!
We like bugs; glad you do too.
Sherry
Dear Scienceguy 288,
LOL!
We do have a few June bugs in the garage each evening! I never mind them. They are summer time bugs.
Sherry
Dear Master Download,
Thanks! I am very interested in visiting your site and seeing what you are all about!
Sherry
