Dear Sandi, I do not think, as a nation, we could ever forget. I have been pleased withthe number of butterflies I saw this past season. Last year I did have a few more but over all I am pleased. Next year I will add some more host plants. Thank you. Sherry
Yes, a very sad day. Unbelievable that it could (and did) happen. I honour those who died, and their families. My husband and I were vacationing in Maine when it happened. My daughter called us at the hotel - she was concerned that we'd not be able to come home (the borders were closed for a few days). I was hoping we'd be stuck down here by the ocean.
We got home on time. I can't believe 7 years has gone by already. Light and Love to everybody.
I remember too, Sherry. I was attending a back-to-school liturgy with 800 high school students in Maryland when the planes hit... My memories are so vivid - like it happened yesterday.
Hello Sherry, aka Tara's mama! Your posts are so peaceful and your pictures of the wildlife and insects are AMAZING. you have a true gift for photography. the memory i have of 9-11 is so strange, because it took me a long while to believe what was going on. just disbelief, and no emotion at all for a while. isin't that strange? well, thank you for stopping by my blog, sherry. i would really like to have you actually just come to my house!
I was working at the hospital (here in Europe...)I couldn't believe what I saw on the TV. I was sad and scared...We all were shocked by this horribly images.
Dear Mary, I remember the day JFK was shot too. I think certain events define a generation; Pearl Harbor for my folks, JFK for me and 9/11 for my kids. Hugs, Sherry
Dear Kelly, Always a delight to hear from you. Glad you enjoy the photo essays. They are fun to do. Tara called me from work on 9-11-01and told me to turn on the tv. I saw the second plane hit the tower. I was so shocked. I understand the feeling of disbeleif. It took awhile for me to really get what happened too. I would love to come to your house and meet your new little one! He looks to be a darling. Maybe you will have an afternoon in October? Let's chat soon, Sherry

I remember, too. Really I hope none of us ever forget.
We didn't have as many butterflies this year for some reason. Yours are beautiful.

Dear Anna,
While on holiday it is nice to take a break from date and time.

I remember and think of the rain as millions upon millions of tears.
