A cold front

I walked this morning
right after the thundershowers ended
and right before the cold front came in.
I looked for signs of Autumn.

My house is cozy and I have my September books to read.

Autumn is early.

I am ready.

Dear Lynne,
Stay warm and cozy. This is just the begining. It is a long time until Spring! I have my socks on.

My Dagwood has berries on it too. You can send some of that rain over our way Sherry. We sure need it.

Dear Lisa,
I would if I could! We have had plenty of rain. Low tonight is to be 48 degrees!
I have my hot tea and my space heater to help me stay warm. I would love to wait until at least the middle of October to turn on the furnace.

Dear Cathy,
I hope snow is two months away, at least! The way the weather pattern has been going we could have snow In October!

Dear Marmee,
I always enjoy the sweaters, socks and hats of Autumn.
Once the humidity drops I can work out in the gardens too.

Dear Belen,
It is a very lovly time of year. Spring is my favorite followed by Autumn! Watching the trees turn is always amazing! We have been lucky to have had lots of moisture so I hope we will have a pretty Autumn.
