I just loved the flute concerto Sherry. Also those little rodents with its cheeks full of nuts. I don't see them around our area much. Never around our house.

I also loved seeing the sulfur sticking its wholw head into the red flower. Usually I just see them stick their probiscus into the flower. Great capture.

Dear Mimi,
Autumn is coming and we are ready! Jean-Pierre Rampal and Shigenori Kudo play the flutes in this concerto written by Domenico Cimarosa.
Glad you enjoyed this.

Everything just seemed to come alive with the music of the flutes in the background. Thank you, Sherry, for sharpening our awareness of all the beauty that is always among us. . .carol

Wonderful - this MIGHT be my favorite...grin The color is amazing and the photography, as always, incredible. Superb music, as well.

This was absolutely beautiful! I grew up with classical music and although I don't take the time to listen as much anymore, it brings back sweet memories for me.
I also thought the little chipmunk with his cheeks puffed out looked cute. Doing what chipmunks do in the fall - store food.
Your spider looked lovely - but scary, somehow!
Nice way to begin the day - thank you!

Sherry-Your slideshows are addictive. This one was so pretty and delightfully formal with your choice of music, but then, you have well behaved insects in your backyard. :-) That little chipmunk made me laugh out loud though. Darling.

Dear Lisa,
Little Chippy just makes me laugh every time O see him. I say him but I guess he could be a she! The Chipmunks are new, this summer, to my yard.
Yesterday, while it was misting/ raining, I watched a Yellow Sulphur try and get into the same set of flowers...I laughed as the butterfly kept trying to get all the way in. Never did and flew off to find a better place to stay dry.
The Cloudless Sulphur in this series does this all the time now. I do get tickled too.

Dear Carol,
Thank you! You are so kind. Glad you also have a backyard full of butterflies. Restoring the habitat for the butterflies seems to be the job of the gardener. A job I love!
Thank you for your support and friendship.

Dear Sue,
I was looking back to see how many weeks it has been since I started Slide Show Friday. As of this one it has been one year. I did a few extras as special treats too. I have produced over 52 slide shows...all because you showed me how!
Thank you. They are very fun to make. Each new one is always my favorite. I do think I have improved over the past year.
What do you think, should I try for another year?
Thanks for you support and encouragement.
Sherry

Dear Wendy,
You are welcome! I am so pleased you enjoyed this one. Hopefully the slide shows do not get boring...I sort of do the same thing every week...the characters change some as Mother Nature presents her amazing cast.
I love classical music and Rampal is one of my favorites.

Dear Deb,
Autumn is a grand time of the year. I love sweaters and socks!
The leaves are just beginning to change too. Just a hint here and there.
I am looking forward to taking pictures of the Autumn leaves.

Dear Marmee,
Thank you! I went back and watched some of the slide shows I did last year. I see I need to do some editing!
These are just for fun.
Glad it was fun for you too.

Dear Maria,
I did a slide show marathon the other evening, watching all the ones I did last year. I am aware I could easily repeat some of my favorite musical selections!
I have an idea for next week...
maybe I will do a wee bit different for year two. We will see.
All bugs must behave...I do have some procreation going on but that just what bugs like to do! There also is some bug eating bug stuff. Oh well, again it is what they do.
Thank you for your friendship.
Lots of fun and surprises for year two.
Live, laugh and love,
Sherry

Oh, yes, Sherry! Indeed! One year is only the beginning. These are so enjoyable! Maybe, though, if you are bored?, you might look at another venue or style...but only if you are dragging your feet on this style which fits your photos and musical knowledge so well!

Dear Sue,
Another year it is! I do have a few ideas on how to stir things up a bit. Thank you so very much for your continued support. Maybe I will get back to my Almanac in 2009! That is real work! LOL

Sherry
