Dear Vikki, They can stay all the way to winter! I would love to have them winter over inside, finding food inside is the hard part. I was so pleased to see the Meadow Hawk Dragonfly. I think they migrate. Happy Autumn to you too. I do love this time of year. I am surrounded by the color orange! Sherry
Dear Lisa, Yes it would be! The morning dew has been so heavy that it almost looks as if it rained over night. I am looking forward to decorating the gardens this weekend for October. House is ready! Sherry
Dear Chris, I do all sorts of shadow art in October. I look at shadows outside for inspiration. I finished decorating the house and now will do the gardens, patios, deck and porch!! I try to have a little something for each flowerbed. I do plant mums and asters but I also give each spot a wee bit of Autumn art! Almost time for,"Boo!" Sherry
Dear Miss Mari-Nanci, It is so fun!! My husband carries my bins up and down the stairs and I decorate until the house is transformed. October is a big bin month, 21! Almost as big as December. We love the change of colors. Seeing all the fantastic treasures we have collected over the years is exciting. I still do a wee bit of shopping and wild crafting. The countdown to Halloween is one of our favorite ways of celebrating October. I am almost ready. Only treats, Sherry
I'm also in the process of decorating the house with fall colours. I love your shadow art! Very impressive. Oh yes, those mums. I have bought I don't know how many mums and given them as gifts over the past week. I have 3 sitting in my garden now.
Dear Wendy, October is one of my favotite months to decorate for. I adore Halloween! It is fun. I also love the colors! LOts and lots of mums here too. So far I have done up 36 of them...some could be gifts... Enjoy the season. Hugs, Sherry

Those Monarchs and Dragonflies seem reluctant to leave your gardens. Happy fall!
Love, Vikki.
Love seeeing the dew drops on the feather. It would be difficult to paint.
That's a great silhouette with the butterfly...yes it's almost time to decorate here - soon the house will abound with fall colors.
I love the way you decorate, by the month. Rather than just, by the Season.
Miss Mari-Nanci
