I can step back a bit and photograph the

It might take me a few months to learn the new lens.
I am looking forward to the learning!
Today is International Day of Peace.
Perhaps if we looked closely we would see how similar we all are.
If we stepped back a bit maybe we could see the full picture.
If we gave ourselves time to learn about the different cultures in our world
we would not be afraid.
All it takes is a desire and decision.
May it begin with me.

very nice words Sherry. I've dedicated a picture to you in my blog.
You send a beautiful message into the universe, Sherry. Bless you.
Your pics look so real and alive (well they are!).
What fun - a new lens! Looks like you've already mastered the technique.
Happy Sunday.
WOW! That's some lens, Sherry. What intriguing photos you will be sharing! Wise words for International Day of Peace- you created a prayer for all of us . . .Hugs~carol
I can't wait to see what all you see with your new lens. Namaste.
wow! i didn't know they could get any better! just beautiful!
I can't wait to see what you'll do with the new lens--you've gotten so many beautiful images with the old!
And I admire your decision for your thoughts. Be the change you want to see in the world--isn't that the start?
Those macros are jumping from the screen...you can get a new perspective up close - Well that's what you already wrote about International Day of Peace isn't it.
Sherry, thank you for nice words.
Your new macro lens will be a new chapter for you :o)
You have done a beautiful job without, now I'll be drooling over your artistry.
Peace & Hugs,
Mary
Your photos are amazing, Sherry! And I thought they were fantastic before:) Your words are so true--it all begins with each of us.
These photos are amazing.
Looks to me like you have mastered that new lens already.
Well done.
xx
Dear Belen,
Thank you! I do love the butterflies.
You are very kind.
I bow to you and yours.
Peace,
Sherry
Dear Wendy,
I think when we hold thoughts of peace we know peace.
It will take lots of pictures before I am comfortable with the new lens. It is very exciting.
Happy Sunday to you too.
Namaste,
Sherry
Dear Carol,
Hopefully I will be able to take some pictures of tiny bugs and all sorts of little stuff!
Inner peace produces outer peace.
Namaste,
Sherry
Dear Lisa,
This winter will be a good time to see what marvels I can take pictures of. Right now we still have plenty of big bugs. LOL
I am looking forward to having a few days to play with the lens. Right now I am giving myself decoarting breaks so I can go snap pictures.
Peace and light,
Namaste,
Sherry
Dear Marmee,
The macro will make it easier to get some pictures that I have to work to get. Now I can get close by getting close rather than by stepping back and zooming in. I also think I will be able to get better detail. Lots to learn.
Sherry
Dear Nina,
The macro will open up another world. (I hope)
Yes, be the change, be peace.
Namaste,
Sherry
Those photos are so wonderful! I love the detail on the spider., who knew?
Dear Chris,
I will need to learn lots about my light needs. My husband also bought a filter for the macro so I will want to work with it too. I have lots of options now for my pictures. One more lens I am set, a wide angle would be great. I do not need one for my regular work since I do not live in an area with lovely sweeping landscapes. The next trip I take will require one!
Photography is a fine hobby.
The more I learn about someone or a culture, the more I understand.
Being open is more fun than being narrow minded and closed up.
Namaste,
Sherry
Dear Mary,
You are welcome. Yes, the macro is a new chapter in photography for me. I am learning....
Thank you...this should give me a very nice range and hopefully I should be able to get the picture I want. I have been frustrated with not being able to do my bugs like I want to.
Always learning.
Hugs,
Sherry
Dear Rose,
Thank you. There are some pictures I have not been able to take. Now, I hope to be able to get the Lady Bugs and the small bugs up close.
I have some ideas too on being artsy! It is fun.
Peace does begin with each of us. When we have inner peace we can than know outer peace.
Namaste,
Sherry
Dear Sheila,
Thank you. There are so many different pictures I want to take. I would love to have the camera in the telescope and take pictures of Spiral Galaxies or the camera in the microscope and take pictures of cells. I enjoy pretty pictures.
Wouldn't it be great to need a field guide to the universe?
Thanks for you support.
Namaste,
Sherry
Dear Meggie,
My husband calls our garden spider, "Gloria" and throws grasshoppers into her web for her.
we really like her.
You are in spring and I in autumn...I am looking forward to seeing your flowers and bugs!
Sherry
I am sure you will do great things with that lens. BTW, I love your hat.
Dear Sandy,
This past week I have tried to take lots and lots of pictures with the macro. I am learning!
Thanks! The safari hat hangs on a globe in our travel room.
Sherry
