Sherry, your show today warmed my heart. The eyes of the beautiful caterpillar and those of many other of the creatures you photographed really touched me. I MUST get the Gypsy CD- it's so lively and exquisite. Thank you for bringing all this beauty into my day. . .Hugs, carol

Aw, Sherry. Prettiest one yet (the colors you get are amazing, I think I say that every time I leave a comment). When you got to the groundhog, I was waiting for him to roll in the grass to the music. :-) And I was glad to see the grasshopper bought it. >:-) I'm so bad.

Dear Lisa,
This selection from the cd, Gypsy Passion, is "Bohemian Rhapsody" by John Knight and Andy Street. The entire cd is a joy to listen to.
I love the way the old Gypsy standards are performed.
I celebrate the Gypsies anf their history in October.
Glad you enjoyed the slide show.
Have a great weekend too.
Sherry

Dear Carol,
So glad you enjoy the slide shows.
This week I did have lots of critters looking right at the camera.
Maybe you could see if the library has this cd. I love Gypsy music.

Dear Maria,
I thought of you when I took the series of grasshopper and spider pictures...
House Sparrows and Doves are good Hawk food and grasshoppers are good for the spiders. I love the ways of nature.
Plenty for every one!

Dear Sue,
My husband told me last night a musical group called, "Queen" wrote lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody and made this music very well known. I knew the piece from old Gypsy music.
After reading the lyrics this morning I am almost embarrassed to have it as part of a slide show!! I do care very much...almost too much!
I do not know popular music...perhaps I will have to do more research before I choose my piece.
Glad you enjoyed the slide show. Glad the music stood on it's own.
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Cathy,
Thank you.
I seem to have fallen behind on visiting. Hope your October is full of lovely leaves.
I will pop over soon and catch up.

Dear Cheryl,
Thank you.
I had no idea this had been made into a popular piece. I think it is a moving piece of music too.
I added a few light hearted moments from the garden this past week.
May you enjoy your weekend.
Thank you for your friendship,
Sherry

Hi Sherry,
A beautiful slide show. I knew this piece of music from Queen back in the early 90's I think. I liked it back then - not the words, just the music.
The Gypsy version you placed is excellent! Just because Queen wrote inappropriate words, doesn't mean the music is unsuitable for your slide show.
It is! It's wonderful! And I thank you for introducing me to Gypsy music!

Your little groundhog looked so real, I thought he was going to bite my nose!

I liked the apples appearing in the middle of the slideshow - not just creatures and flowers, fruit too!

Colours were bright and vivid....a lovely tribute to fall and the beginning of our Canadian Thanksgiving.
Have a wonderful weekend, Sherry.

Dear Sherry,

This is one of your best. The music selection is perfect - I love the rendition in violin...

Your photos get better and better - to the point I think you might consider publishing an album?

The spider and the grasshopper made me gasp.

The titmouse and wren, well, you know...

Hugs,
Mary

Dear Wendy,
Thank you so very much for your kind and thoughtful words.
My idea on slide shows is to show case different types of music I love...Gypsy music is one such style. In October I study the traditions of the Gypsies and I remember those that were persecuted.
When I was a little girl I remember dressing up as a gypsy for Halloween. That was after I had been a witch for many, many years.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
I am grateful for your friendship,
Sherry

Dear Mary,
Thank you. I do enjoy taking pictures. I do have a publishing thing going on. Someone is interested in marketing my pictures. We will see what happens. If and when my work is available I will let you know...
I will do a post!
It is exciting.
In the meantime I take my pictures and feed the birds and the bugs.
Thank you for your care and support.
Namaste,
Sherry

Dear Anna,
Each week I am thrilled to go through my pictures and see the joys and gifts Mother Nature presented to my eye. Each week I am grateful to be able to do a slide show and share a slice of my world.
Thank you for sharing a slice of yours.
