Dear Grammy, Thank you. Paul Horn is the sound traveler! This piece, "Mumtaz Mahal" is from his cd "Inside the Taj Mahal I & II". I find his music calming too. Have a lovely relaxing weekend. Namaste, Sherry
what an amazing way to start off my day with images of beauty and nature. i love every photo. the mantis at the end was staring straight into the lens.
Dear Lisa, Thank you. Autumn is here. I am looking for some rain soon. A bit too warm in the afternoons. I think thundershowers are building! Have a delightful weekend. Sherry
Dear Sue, So glad you liked it. Thursday evenings are set aside to create our slide show. I think about our show all week. I love it when I know my music and can take pictures that go with. Sherry
Dear Cheryl, Thank you. So glad this was refreshing for you. I know what you mean! I love October but it has already been an up and down time and it is only the 3rd! It is hot here, I need a cool down and some rain. Looking forward to getting apples this wekend and some nice cider. That will be fun! Hope you can relax a bit. Sherry
Ahhhh - peace and tranquillity. Beautiful pics, soothing music. I also am feeling ups and downs this month - strange, but I guess it's the nature of transitional times. Have a good weekend too.
I forgot all about Paul Horn! He is the perfect person to listen to on a peaceful, restful Sunday night before having to start the workweek on Monday. I was just watching your little movie on my laptop and while the music was playing, the crickets (my back door is open) are seriously making their cricket sounds in end of season earnestness. The combination of human and insect music was beautiful. :-) But then you end your movie with a praying mantis face. Oh, I'm still getting over last week's attack. Ha ha ha. Your autumn visitors are so beautiful and sweet and since this is always the case, in my backyard, something completely different is going on. Stinkbugs. I've got stinkbugs! My illustration came out in the Star today so what do you think? Stinkbugs are nature's way of delivering you a critic?
But seriously, one of my favorite movies so far. :-)
Dear Wendy, I think it is the nature of transition to be up and down. I find I am longing for coolness. The leaves are just beginning to show some color. "Peace and Tranquility" sounds like a good title for a slide show. Hugs, Sherry
Dear Maria, I would love to see your illustration! I will ask my mother-in-law to save her paper for me. Stink bugs??? Well now they are poorly named. Such ancient bugs. They have survived all sorts of on slaughts by humankind. Humans and insects can co-exist in harmony if allowed. I live very nicely with the bugs! Looking forward to chatting. Hope we get to have lunch soon. Namaste, Sherry

Yes Sherry, I can see how fall has slipped right into our midst by looking at your video. Lovely.
Sherry, this is exquisite! Exquisite! Thanks for keeping on with this!
Dear Marmee,
This mantis has become a friend! I see her almost everyday. She seems to like to have her picture taken.
Happy October bugs!
