Bird Report

So many birds came to the feeders today
I knew the weather was to turn cold and wet tomorrow.

A nice flock of Gold Finches came for seed and suet.

The Pine Siskins are still here.

I wonder if they will stay for the big storm.

I have enjoyed them being here.

I am pleased they remembered me from last year.

Dear Dawn,
I bet tomorrow it will really be busy at the feeders. It is to be extreamly cold and snowy...weather events bring the birds from far away to the feeders. I did stock up on suet too.

That siskin seems to be saying hello to the camera.

Dear Lisa,
The Siskins are so cute. They have a darling little call too.
It is zero degrees right now. If I stick my nose out it will only be to feed the birds. BRRR....

Beautiful close-up shots, Sherry! I'm glad to see you are getting pine siskins. Do you get them every winter?

Dear Anna,
I think the Pine Siskins spend the summer with you. They are very cute.
Hope you are staying warm. It is bitterly cold at my house.

Dear Mary C,
This is the second year they have come. I have noticed lots more varieties of birds since I added different types of feeding stations. The Siskins like the perch feeders. They also will feed with the Gold Finches.
Since I began photgraphy I think I am watching more too.
