Mmmm...I haven't tasted a fresh fig in ages. My mouth is watering!
Great F photos

Beautiful photos, as ever!! I love the face on the fig beetle! He seems to have a funny expression! And I love the detail in the macro of the open fig; it looks so juicy and delicious!!
Sherry, you have the most beautiful F's! The figs look absolutely delicious.
Thank you for the kind comments you left on my post; I know that I will find ways to fill up my empty nest syndrome soon. Besides, this will give me an excuse to travel even more:) It's good to be back home again, though, and I am enjoying catching up on some reading here. As always, I enjoy all your beautiful photos. Your Sunday Safari must have been quite an experience--I can't imagine over 8,000 acres of prairie. What a sight! And you must have been very tired by the end of the day:)
An amazing ABC post... those figs look luscious and all of the pictures are beautiful!
Nice selection of photos. You must have peacocks in your yard. They are beautiful.
Figs! Yum. Your f's are all luscious and lovely. Always such fun to arrive here to see what you've found.

Delightful ABC Wed.......
What beautiful feathers - and Flora is a cutie :)
Great photos...all beautiful...I esp like the finches and feathers...and fuchias...and the figs are wonderful...
Love the mantis and of course the figs. One of the best things about visiting Greece in late summer is picking figs from the trees. Luscious photos.
Figs, finches, and female mantises. A wonderful day indeed. Whenever you have a superfruit, colourful birds and cool insects, you know it's still summer.
Wow - don't know which F of your I like the best - they are all Fabulous!!

Such lovely images, each one is beautiful and special and I think it's amazing that you can spin the alpaca fiber into wool for knitting. Hi Flora!
your picture of the cut fig is practically pornographic; I'm going to find my husband right now. Thanks in advance!
You obviously know hot to use your cameras. I especially like the macros!
Fabulous photos!
Such a lot of beautiful Fs! Your photos are wonderful - I especially love the fig beetle, and the figs! I love fresh figs, but we never get them here worth eating. I believe this is because they must be picked ripe, or they don't ripen at all, and ours are generally tasteless. Love them dried, though!
On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)
I like the fig. Creative take on F and great macros.
great photos, great variety. my favorite is the 2nd feather photo.
Sherry, you said you were going to look into borage for next year. I highly recommend it, but it is sprawly, and self seeds. On the plus side, the bees adore it, but I am not sure about butterflies!
wow! tha sure is a magnificent collection of fantastic fs!!!!
Beautiful!
