We are to have snow overnight.
I have Spring inside.
The white roses are opening
filling the house with the smell of Spring.
Vases filled with flowers help me stay warm.
I have been reading this afternoon and looking out the backdoor.
Little Chipmunk filled his checks few times.
The Cardinals are choosing mates.
Watching seed giving makes me feel as if I am part of this ritual..
The birds are fueling up before the storm.
March is a very fun month.
Often it is a reading month.
Often it is a learning month.
Tracing DNA to find
the roots of the Celtic people
is fascinating.
I am continuing my arm chair travels.
The more I learn about
Wales the more I want to walk this magical land.
St. Patrick's Day
is Thursday.
I think I will make a pot of potato soup.
Maybe the snow will be melted
and we will be able to plant our potatoes.
I send blessings to Japan.
May her people find comfort.
Happy Sunday Safari.

What beautiful flowers Sherry. White as the snow you are going to get. The best thing about it is that spring snows don't last long. That is a sweet capture of the cardinals sharing an intimate moment. Happy SS. Stay warm.
The chipmunk is just the cutest! We have a little wren that scurries around and reminds us of the chipmunks in NC! We saw an eagle today...I posted the blurry pic I took! The birds are going crazy here! We saw 4 hawks...the most we've ever seen interacting! Hugs! ♥
Chippy looks very cheeky! Stay warm and enjoy your indoor blooms!
yes, blessings to Japan.
i also have flowers - yellow tulips, color is desired right now.
your post is lovely and i love all the fairy books. I just posted my fairy painting on my other blog... so fairies are amongst us. lovely week to you.
ha ha, the chipmunk is adorable! The picture of the cardinals is so sweet too.
Another lovely safari Sherry and I enjoyed all your photos especially (of course!) the birds and the Chipmunk, the Cardinals looked so sweet :) The flowers are beautiful too, how lovely too have the scent from the Roses wafting through your home.
I hope you enjoyed your dinner party on Saturday, we had one too... our friends didn't leave until 3.45am!!!
I do hope the snow storm isn't too cruel to you.
Sherry, I had not realized that chipmunk pockets could expand that much! I gasped when I saw the little guy!!! And the cardinals courting are so cute!!!
Ah Sherry, your photos are just so gorgeous!! And I can smell those beautiful flowers. :)
Blessings to Japan. I feel for those people in this terrifying time.
I hope you didn't get the snow, or if you did, it was not too bad. We have had lots of melting; our snows are receding.
Love your white rose and fascinating books. Little chipmunk is cute too. I did not know about the seed passing ritual. I'm happy you got a pic of the cardinals.
Namaste
The Chipmunk looks like he has a bad of mumps.
Just let you know there are new poems at my blog.
What a cute photo of the chipmunk! I know some find them annoying, but since I don't see them in my garden, I think they're adorable. Even more delightful is the pair of cardinals. They look as though they're kissing, don't they?
Hope you didn't get that winter storm, Sherry. We didn't get the snow forecast for us earlier this week, and today the temps are supposed to get near 70. I am taking a break right now, because my arms are already tired from cleaning up flowerbeds this morning:) Happy March!
