What a wonderful series of pictures of the Zebra Swallowtail. Thanks for getting out in this heat to take her picture.
I feel light, air under my wings, thank you~
Sherry,
These photos are really really good! Zebra's usually never stay on flowers for too many photos. Enjoyed very much...
Gorgeous photos. I'm very impressed with your visitor.
Dear Sherry,
Such a moving and beautiful post.
Zebra....I can hear you whisper her name.
A wonderful set of images of a stunning butterfly.
Stay cool my friend.....
Bless the butterflies.
Thank you! I have not seen many butterflies this year, and none as beautiful as that!
She is lovely and the thought of her fanning your flowers makes me feel cool. Hope your fan works as well!
She is beautiful! Thanks for sharing her with us.. I have never had the opportunity to see one in person.
Oh, she's lovely! You capture her so well, Sherry.
Hugs
She's beautiful, Sherry! Isn't it amazing how these creatures know where to go and what schedule to keep; I always marvel at the migration of the Monarchs, too. I went to a lecture on hummingbirds Sunday and learned so much. Now when I see them in the fall, I'll know they're storing up energy for their flight across the Gulf of Mexico.
Sherry,
I've never seen a Zebra swallowtail up close. I think it is our most beautiful butterfly in the continental U.S.
They say we have them here in East Texas. I have giant swallowtail and pipevine swallowtail which is attracted to our camphor tree.
Great shots!
