The Lilacs are blooming.
I am passionate for Lilacs.
The smell of Lilacs is intoxicating.
The tulips are in bloom.
It is a zippity-do-da Spring.
The Hummingbirds have been spotted so I put up the feeders.
I normally put them up April 23rd.
The pear tree our friends gave us is blooming.
The carpenter bees are flying and drilling homes.
I love the sound of the bumble bee.
The flower beds are edged in muscari.
The bees love the blooms.
We went to an indoor kite fly.
We met some members of the KCKC.
We are a good fit.
I picked another basket of Wild Violets.
They are drying.
I will save them for winter tea.
Wild Violets are high in vitamin c.
and charm.
The Rain Dragons brought 3.1 inches of rain
last week.
Sunshine and 82 degrees has brought
much growth.
The peonies are becoming full bushes.
I have seen lots of butterflies.
I am outside playing in the dirt once again.
Happy Sunday Safari.

Oh yes, isn't this the best spring ever? We need rain here but everything seems to be on overdrive. There have been hummers spotted just 50 miles from our house. I am lovin' every minute of it. Your photos are full of beauty and spring sunshine.
Is that a ruffled tulip? It's gorgeous! I wish I could get better photos of bees and butterflies...they always come out a blur. I hope you get a chance to see my post from yesterday. I did get a good photo of a heron...one of those rare shots! Happy Spring!

What a riot of Spring blossoms! I am spoiled living it up in the sunshine of Arizona..I know that when I return home my own Spring blossoms will welcome me home!
Love the idea of drying the violets for tea!I'm on a mission to boost my immune system naturally! Vit. C a great start!
Hi Sherry, your Spring temperatures at the moment would be high Summer temperatures for us! It has been glorious sunshine here too but temperatures are more like 68 fahrenheit, the low 70s is as warm as I like :-)
All your photos are lovely as usual, your flowers are so pretty, I haven't seen Tulips in flower here yet. Your Tulip with the ruffled petals looks very unusual. So lovely to see all the bees too, I saw lots here yesterday.
I also enjoyed your last post. The Kite flying sounded great fun :-)
I bought a kite today to fly when the grandkids come over--maybe I'll just have to try it out myself first:)
You're so right that Spring is galloping along; I hope that you are enjoying every minute of it!
82 degrees! sigh, we have managed a few days here and there in the 50's. Can't wait until it warms up some more.
Your spring is so much further advanced than ours! And we are back to temperatures hovering around the freezing mark, so everything is on hold again...
