I am smitten by birds in flight. The challenge to photograph them has been issued. She delights me. On my list of needs is, "bugs for the birds". A Dove in full flight would be nice.
Learning stop action photgraphy will help with Hummingbirds too! Last summer I was able to get some good shots, this coming year I hope to get those "Oh my!" pictures I long for. Should help with butterflies too.
Maybe I will see a running deer this winter! Before knowing I was capable of "stop time" I was concerned "in motion" was not for me. Now another window has opened up. I am somewhat comfortable with timed exposures. Thus I can do my lights and candles and some moom and star shots. With so many birds in and out of the yard I have flight all around. Plenty of opportunity to practice. Once I begin learning something I am pretty good at staying with the lessons until I have it. My husband is a good teacher. Wish me luck. ~Q~

I think when you see birds in flight you really notice just how majestic they really are...
