Katydid

The Katydid was laying in a zinnia.

I thought perhaps she was sleeping.

I was able to get very close before
Katydid moved.

I do not know very much about the Katydids.

I like the way they sing.

I like the Katydid photos, and the way they make sounds. The green on pink is so pretty.

Dear Cat,
Ahhh...I am glad you have magical moments here.
I will pop over and see your butterflies. Katydids are rather good at hiding! Seeing one on the zinnia was thrilling.

Dear Sprite,
I do like the bugs!!
I am still hearing the Katydids in the evenings and the dragonflies are still flying.
Autumn is here but the warm temperatures in the afternoons are keeping the bugs active!

Dear Chris,
BUGS! So many in our world. I do like them. Katydids are part of our evening bug chorus in the summer and fall. I am always pleased to see one! The mushrooms and toadstools are also part of spring and fall here. I do like them.

Dear Mary,
I think I woke her up!
She had been up late singing...
