Full Snow Moon

The Full Snow Moon
rises this evening.

A Sharp-shinned Hawk
was nestled in the back forsythia hedge.

Much smaller than the Cooper's Hawk.

It is so cold outside I may not greet the moon tonight.
I may celebrate today while the sun is shining.

I stirred some co-coa into my morning coffee.
I wrote, " Three degees, Full Snow Moon, mocha and Hawks"
in my journal.

I warmed my apple and sprinkled it with cinnamon.

I need to bring in the heat.

It is so cold.

Happy Full Snow Moon , Sherry. We shan't see it here either, it is too cloudy. Enjoy your mocha, I think I will join you :-)

Dear Chris,
She may already be rising at your house! I do have clear skies but bitter cold. Snow is on the ground.
Sometimes February's Full Moon was called, "The Full Hungry Moon."
The Hawks seem hungry.
Let us have our mocha together, cheers, and blessings for warmer days.
I am dreaming of lavender and roses.

You are most welcome Sherry. This is only the second time I have been called an artist. Thank you. This makes me happy. I am a well known dabbler. :)

I hope you are not getting sick. I haven't heard you complain about the cold all winter. The wind feels like a killer here today too. Stay warm and have lots of hot chocolate thoughts.

OOps, I should have put my comment on the first posting. Sorry. I am at work and I got busy for a minute and lost my train of thought.

Don't you just love the moon.

Dear Lisa,
You are an artist! A talented one too. I am touched by your kindness. Thank you for bookmark.
I am just weary of the cold. Not sick! It felt extra cold today. Not only was it 3 degrees but the wind was blowing. I could not stay outside.
The sun was nice! Hearing the Cardinals sing is nice!
As we get closer to March my thoughts are turning to spring. I do not want too early of a spring but a break from the cold would be nice. Forty degrees is easier than 3!
Your book and lovely bookmark warmed me right up!
You stay warm too.

Dear Cheryl,
I am a moon lady! When it is warm I take moon baths. Too cold for that today!
Hope you were able to see the full moon.
Namaste,
Sherry

Sherry, I don't envy your cold. It's been a long time since I felt single digits. Please keep warm. Keep watching the birds whenever you can. It makes you warm :o)

Dear Mary,
The birds do help me at least forget to be cold!
The closer we get to March the more hope I have that the bitter cold is almost over.
I will make it! Spring has already sprung at your house.

Dear Mari-Nanci,
A little Mocha warms me right up.
Tasty stuff! Time for me to finish up the cocoas. Spring will come before too long.
