Very creative post, Sherry! I wouldn't have expected the ice:) I don't look forward to an icy winter, but you have reminded me that one good thing about it is that it does provide some great photo opportunities. For now, I prefer seeing the Monarchs on the ironweed:)
These are fabulous photos. I really love the second photo with the ice frozen atop the berries, and the interesting childrens book. All great and wonderful I words. I enjoyed your post.
this is such a beautiful nod to "i's." you always capture such vivid images beautifully. i love my visits here even at the late hr i have come. september blessings.
A lovely I post Sherry, as creative and beautiful as always. Like Rose I think I will concentrate more on the Monarchs than the ice for now ;) our nights are turning chilly already!
I particularly enjoyed the ice photos, Sherry. The colours are beautiful! Hope you are well and enjoying your garden still. The days are shortening here :-( but as we both know there is something new in every season :-)
I love the indigo bunting. So colourful. Did not expect the ice pictures either! But it is beautiful. I look forward to taking some ice pics this winter. You are right. This new camera is opening a whole other world for me. And I never thought I'd enjoy taking pictures so much.
The monarch is such a stunning butterfly. I have not attempted any flying insects or birds yet. But that will come. For now I am happy to take flowers and insects that don't move so much. LOL!
So many beautiful photos!! I think my favourite has to be the icicle with the droplet falling off the end!! But the female cardinal in the previous post, with the sunlight streaming through her tailfeathers!!! And I had never realized how the horns of the bison have different shapes!!! Not to mention all the information!! Thank you!!

A nice collection of I's indeed, but I fell for those frozen berries.

Beautiful sequence - the ice shots are stunning!
Ice! Well, I guess this is a hint of what we'll be seeing soon. ;-) The butterflies will soon be gone for this year.
Beautiful and creative. Loved it! I adore Indigo buntings. -Tammy
I love the Indigo Bunting! How pretty he is!
The children's book is delightful - how funny the illustrations look to us, now. Look at the shine on those children's hair! LOL!
Beautiful ice pictures too.
Such a wonderful group of photos! So amazing to see ice when it is a hot day.
