Lovely L's, Sherry! I have one lonely lavender plant which has put out just one solitary bloom this year. I do hope it does better next year. I've never seen such a colorful leaf hopper! Ladybugs are a favorite of mine, but we are inundated with the Asian Lady Beetles--do you have them? Apparently, they're a very beneficial insect, but they love to cling to your clothes and come in the house, where they're not so nice:)
Your photographic series have always exceptional quality and a great effect: I do not know which to choose, but the sparrow is really very very charming! Thanks, great job, great emotions!
Dear Sherry......Beautiful L's......the Lincoln sparrow caught my eye....what a cute little fellow he is. Birds do not need to be brightly coloured to be beautiful.
I like the Bison on the prairie....lonely.....wonderful connection. I thought of me in my garden....... alone.....lonely....definately not.
L is my favorite letter. ;) You have some of my favorite Ls here. Great photo of the Lincoln Sparrow. The leaf hopper looks like the clown of the bug world.
all of your l's are luscious. that leaf hopper is spectacular. that is quite a handsome little sparrow with the tufting head. the lavender looks scrumptious. the ladybug is a standout too. autumn is such a happy time.
Wonderful to see bright and beauteous summer photos on this snowy gray day. I have my first coat of snow on the steps, on the lawn. Slowly a new season slides in.
Lilac, lavender, ooooh so sweet! Love the smells. I didn't get any blooms on my lavender plant this summer, but the leaves smell nice anyway. Your little lincoln sparrow is so cute. Perky I think. Lonely bison, looks rather sad. Hope things are well with you. Hugs
I love your ABC Wednesdays! And that lavender, and that Lincoln Sparrow (why can't I see one of those in *my* yard?).. and everything. Just beautiful, as always. Thank you for sharing the beauty in your life, and teaching us too :) -Tammy

Sherry, more lovely photos! My favourite is the ladybug! All the details of her, and the texture of the petals and leaves!!!
I love the lavender...and I'm feeling the lonely just a bit today. Thanks for sharing your amazing photos!
What a great selection of L words, Sherry! And what delightful photos. I'm in love with the ladybug shot, too!
Have a great day!
Sylvia

Lovely Ls Sherry. I can almost smell the wonderful scent of the Lavender!
The Lincoln Sparrow is so cute, in the second photo it looks surprised somehow.
As for the Leaf Hopper...its colouring is amazing, you really have the most exotic looking creatures there, I do love seeing them!
That leaf hopper is so cool!
I love both lavender and lilac - and now I'm lucky enough to have both in my garden.
Thanks for your post this week.
The ABC Team.

Q: Regardless of the letter, YOU are an amazing photographer. Thanks for sharing!! Love, love the first Lincoln Sparrow shot!
I shed a tear for the bison. How I wish I could be around when huge herds roamed the plains. A sad state to be sure.
I love the shot of the Lincoln Sparrow! Beautiful!
Laughing at the Lincoln Sparrow - he's such an adorable bedhead! Your L's are gorgeous, as always. My lavendar is in the frozen and brown stage.
Every one of those photographs is superb! I love the ladybug...what a beautiful little critter...gorgeous "L" post!

LOVELY captures with the LENS, as always. I've actually never seen lilacs growing separated like that; they were always trees or bushes.
Hello Sherry. I really like the photos of the little Lincoln Sparrow! Beautiful grass hoppper too! Lovely L's :-)
