The mantis looks like a monster against the moon. I am lovin that magnolia too. Marvelous Ms Sherry.
Dear Sherry. I love the content.....and the mystery and magic of which you speak. Your journey looking into the history of the area in which you live, must be full of excitement and anticipation.....
The mating monarchs and mantis against the moon are beautiful.
I really love this post and am going back to read it again........
Among all those magnificent Ms, I fell for the Mint on the Moon.
Marvelous post! Loved all the selections.
Fantastic M post! Love the whole collection of Ms. The magnolias are breathtaking and I love the words! those I'm going to write down!
Thanks for the beauty and the thoughts for this Wednesday!

A lovely M post - as always magnificent photography. I adore the mantis of the moon shot!
More great photos, ending in a marvellous mystical way.
Magnificent post. This time of year is magical, as are your posts and photographs.
Beautiful photos! And great collection of "m's" - my favorite was the mantis, what a capture!
Thanks also for visiting my blog!
MAN! What a lot of "M" words...just fantastic. LOVE the shot of the mantis. :D
Lots of great Ms!
My ABC & Watery Wednesday
I love to read about the places to which I plan to travel. I feel that the experience is more meaningful that way. Glad you are doing the same.
I called my sister and read the tombstone memorial to her. That is just amazing and makes chills come on my arms. Lovely. Thank you!
This is the time of year for mystery and magic! Your books look interesting. I haven't read Edgar Cayce, but I know he's very popular. Will look that one up.
Love your full moon and marigolds, especially. My marigolds are still in bloom - until the first frost (which I know will be soon).
Happy ABC wednesday.
Wonderful M's!! I had to pause and read the memorial.. beautiful. As always, gorgeous photography too! -Tammy
My sons very first word was "moon". I used to carry him outside each night and look at the moon. One night (he was very young at the time and though he had been making a lot of sounds that I thought might be words, he'd never actually articulated anything I could prove was a word) he looked up and the big full moon and pointed with his little hand at it and said "moon". I can even remember what he was wearing at the time. :) Thanks for reminding me of that wonderful memory.
Marvelous mayhem of M's! Although, I think one could say that those were mating monarchs. And the mystic mounds- a great reminder that I meant to get that book by Cayce.
All beautiful M's, Sherry! I love the poem! Your photos are all very gorgeous!
A marvelous collection of photos, Sherry! The mating Monarchs are just beautiful--are they still in your area or have they flown on to warmer climes by now? The mantis in front of the moon is just the picture for this time of year--almost spooky! Looks like you have some magical reading for cold winter nights.
One of my favorite stops on ABCW. Of course love the monarch, but the monster is oddly entreating.
A wonderful variety of Ms Sherry, you always come up with something unusual! I love the photos of the Magnolia... so beautiful and of course the Mockingbird and Monarch are my other favourites ;)
I have always loved that inscription, it is very moving!
Thank you for another imaginative post.
Thats a lovely post of a host of nice Ms. My favs include Moon, mint..magnolia, marigold and here you have captured the M - Magic well.
sigh! you are just brilliant!!!
Sherry the world we shape is the world we touch..your memorable images leave us wanting more!
I love your thoughts and the way you express them through your stunning photos.
I too, find Magnolias magnificent, & magical. Lovely post Sherry.
The mantis superimposed on the moon makes me think of the covers of 1950s SF mags! Clever!!
My favourite photo is the centre of the magnolia! I love the detail!!
But the photo of the mint makes me just want to give up - I can never get that sort of detail, with this camera, no matter how often I try!
I think I know what you will say about that, though - simply focus on what I can take photos of! Right?!!
Magnificent post!
Very poignant M's Sherry.
