The grasses on the Prairie sway in the breeze.
I walked the labyrinth.
This Labyrinth is a magnificent walk.
I am inspired.
These grounds are sacred.
October is full of fantastic experiences.

Dear Sherry
The autumn colours are showing well here.....
The prairie grasses have such a wonderful depth of colour......
The monarchs are such beautiful butterflies...they always remind me of tiffany glass....
I tie ribbons to my apple tree....I give my worries to the tree......I take the ribbons away when the troubles are passing.....
I have just been looking at the UK butterfly conservation sight....I was interested in the painted ladies.
They say that almost a billion butterflies entered UK this year.....many came to my gardens in May, too many to count.
They have travelled extensively and some have reached USA.
I have logged my recent sightings as they want to know what is happening with them this autumn. My butterfly was second generation.
I am going to join butterfly conservation group....
Wow, I walked through our grasses on the farm yesterday. Can't imagine a labyrinth of them, but how fun! What a wonderful experience (and pictures!). Thank you so much for sharing ~ your posts always make my day :) -Tammy
The Prairie Labyrinth looks like an excellent place to walk around. You took some great pictures.
A labryinth would be an excellent way to enjoy a prairie. I bet you did like it. Love seeing those butterflies. It won't be long and we won't have them around until spring.
Lovely photos Sherry. Love your phrase "each tree has an inner light". Is that your shot of butterflies? It is great!!!
October is full of fantastic experiences, indeed. Those prairie grasses are so colorful, almost as colorful as the tree.
And I too am grateful Q!

And oh yes Q, on your profile, maybe you should take this blog up instead of the 3 others that you are not posting into for long. People may feel, after coming to your profile, that you are not posting any more. Many will not reach until the 4th blog in the list.

I love the monarchs!! I envy you, that you still have them!
Several places in our area have corn mazes, Sherry, but I haven't read about a prairie labyrinth anywhere--this would be so much more fun! Enjoy the beautiful colors of fall while they last. I have been admiring the leaves turning in the last week, but then I noticed two of my trees have already dropped nearly all their leaves! Certainly a reminder to enjoy the moment.
dear sherry,
i love the feeling of inspiration...so much energy and life. i am delighted that you are enjoying the beauty around you.
i love the idea of walking the labyrinth...i have never walked one.
the colours of autumn are always a delight and make your senses come alive. those praire grasses are certainly beautiful dressed in there autumnal colours.
happy autumn.
What a wonderful experience to walk a labyrinth! I've never done that. I like how you celebrate autumn, honouring the trees, grasses and plants (and butterflies too). Those monarchs are lovely.
Autumn colors are near peak here too! I want to drive around and take photos when the sun comes out! Love your photos...always wonderful!
Autumn is a special time of year. I feel like it's a time for new beginnings...perhaps this stems from childhood when a new grade started each September. I've never walked a labyrinth but it sounds intriging.
