Sunday Safari

Spring has come early this year.
I am delighted to greet her.
Mocking Bird once again is back for suet.
The sparrows have begun nest building.
The Gold Finches are getting their Spring colors.

The Cardinals are singing their morning songs.
The bugs are waking up.

Tornado season has begun.
Blessings to those who lost loved ones.

I bow my head.

Dear Sherry,

Spring has come early in KC.
If March comes in like a lamb, they say, she goes out like a lion.
I hope this does not happen as you have much new growth and the birds getting ready for the mating season.

We had torrential rain for most of Sunday but it is very much needed.

The birds are beautiful in their pretty Spring colours, enjoy.

I read about the fatalities yesterday, so very very sad.
My heart goes out to all those who have been affected.

Spring is here too but you can't tell it this a.m. Everything is covered with snow. Love seeing your shots of spring happening. It is happening here too...except for the snow. It is very sad about the tornado damage. My heart goes out to those affected.

Your early Spring time birds look so pretty, Sherry. You always seem to have so much lovely light and sunshine there to make your photos look wonderful, it is often very dull here!

I saw on the television the reports of the dreadful tornadoes. I am so sorry for all those involved, so very tragic...

Oh so lovely, Sherry! It definitely looks like spring has come to stay with you. We had a covering of snow here this morning, but I've noticed more and more robins lately, so I'm sure spring can't be far away.

My thoughts and prayers are also with those who have suffered from the devastating tornadoes.

I am glad you are o.k., Sherry. I was worried that the tornadoes had hit your community. Blessings and prayers to those who suffer....

Your birds look wonderful. I especially like that first shot with blooming purple crocuses.

Happy Spring. It's still cold here, but we are expecting things to warm up here this week.

I love watching the Sparrows as they gather nesting material :-)
Lots of rain today. March came in like a lamb.

Sherry,

It's good to see that you are still using that camera and staying busy. Your Spring is way ahead of ours!
