President's Day

Today is President's Day.
Today is a federal holiday.

I am thinking about leadership.
I am thinking about symbols.

My morning meditation is with the rose.
It is the national flower of the U.S.

The national tree is the Oak Tree.

I could not find a national butterfly.
Perhaps it has never bubbled up.

I didn't know the Rose was our national flower. You are a wealth of information.

Good Morning Lisa,
I was wondering if we have a National butterfly. I think the Monarch would be just perfect. Maybe a National Butterfly Awareness Week would be nice! All across America we could plant Butterfly Bushes and Butterfly Weed! I can see this week being in May. School children could learn about the importance of native plants and about different butterflies in their area. Maybe there is such a thing and I just do not know about it.
I did learn about the rose and the oak tree!
If I was President I would ......
LOl!
Have a terrific day.

Dear Mari-Nanci,
National Butterfly Week could be fun, educational with lots of awareness. This sort of campaign is something I could get involved in!
