I thought the first photo was fabulous. The orange glow (reflection) on the bottom of the butterfly and then you caught it flying away. WOW. All of these photos are WOWs. What can I say. Wow.
What a feast for the eyes to catch up with you and see what is blooming and flitting about in your yard in August! I don't want to let go of summer quite yet!
Sherry, I've run out of superlatives to describe your photos! The first one of the painted lady and the first photo on your last post are simply perfect. I've spent a lot of time recently enjoying all my flying friends, too. I've had so many different visitors to the garden this year that it's a delight to step outside even in the mid-day heat just to see who's stopped by for a visit today. I've seen more butterflies and more different species of them this year than I have in years.
Dear Sherry......the images are amazing, more like paintings than photographs.
I can see you are having great fun experimenting.....I look forward to future posts.
My garden is full of butterflies....there have been so many blues today. I have not managed to capture them with my camera. I shall try again in a few moments......
Breathtaking, as always! I've seen the prettiest teensy tiny butterflies (or maybe they're moths?) flitting about lately. I can't seem to capture them though.. I won't give up :) Thank you for sharing these beauties!! -Tammy
Sherry, Wonderful post the Painted lady is so sweet and in flight too! Not seen any Painted ladies here yet. So years they barely make it other years they are plentyful, 2004 was a great year for them!
