October's Dogwood

I sat outside with the Dogwood this morning.
The berries are ripe.
It is wonderful to spend time with the birds again.
I am reading while having my coffee
and taking photographs of the birds.

I read the first China Bayles Mystery
"Thyme of Death"
and now I am hooked.

Thunder roared
so I gathered my things.
I love rainy days.

You lucky girl having a visit with all the birds eating the dogwood berries then a nice rain. If you have any leftover rain please send it my way. We need it desperately.

The berries and birds are wonderful shots! I, too, like a rainy day (for reading...).

Sherry,
Thanks for the reminder on the dogwood berries. Some of the best birding we have ever had here was will lots of thrushes eating dogwood berries. Loved the photos!

Ah! I'm in my element here :) I love your beautiful birds, the photos are lovely. I particularly like the first two.

Birds, coffee and a good book, what could be nicer?
