Savoring

I am savoring each moment of Spring.

I am drinking in her sweet nectar.

I am holding her songs in my heart.

I am enjoying the return of the birds and the bees.

I am rejoicing.

The details of Spring enchant me.

The smells of Spring

and her colors

inspire me to be the best I can be.

Happy Easter!

Dear Sprite,
Thank you!
Happy Easter to you and yours.
I spent the day outside in the gardens. I planted peas and lettuce and cleaned flowerbeds. It feels so good to be out in the dirt!
Hugs,
Sherry

Sherry, may I keep that photo of the bee in the grape hyacinth in my forever file!!! It is incredible!!
The violets are wonderful, too, and I am so jealous that you have lilacs in bud! I have to wait another month for them!

Dear Bernie,
Happy All Days to you too. Learning to savor each minute is an amazing experience. It is breath and smiles.
I enjoyed the feeling of the moist earth on my hands and the joy of green pea seeds! The color is soft.

Dear Blossom,
For many years I was an Autumn girl. I had just begun to love Spring in 2005. The Spring of 2007 came very early. The lilacs were in bloom a month early. The heathers were in bud and my neighbor's apple tree sent sweet perfume into my backyard. A cold front came in and for a week I had temperatures in the mid 20's. That Spring over 400 plants died in my gardens. I cried...and cried.
Since that Spring I have been nervous. I have held back not wanting the sadness, not engaging fully in Spring, detaching and being sad.
This year I once again am in love with Spring.
Once again I am savoring each new flower. Once again I am rejoicing and renewed.
Happy Easter,
Sherry

Dear Judy,
I would be honored for you to have "Honey bee in the muscari".
The French Liliacs were nipped in the ice a few weeks ago. I do hope they bloom out. I am watching them.
Namaste,
Sherry

Happy Easter, Sherry! Your pics are beautiful, as always. You've captured the essence of Spring - I can almost smell the sweet flowers in bloom! That little bee looks so intent on what it's doing. And your birds so perfect!

I am glad you are rejoicing in spring once more. That year you lost 400 plants must have been devastating!! I also am a spring person, I like watching "life" return to Mother Earth.

Happy Easter!
The energy of spring permiates all things in the most amazing way! I am glad you are enjoying everything it has to offer. I am enjoying the warmer temps, the beautiful flowers, and all the birds! Especially all of the hummingbirds that have shown up the last couple of weeks.
