July Promises

The clouds parted for a minute.
I went bug hunting.
A Skipper was on the onion bloom.
An Eastern Tailed-blue was in the grass
and a Black Swallowtail was in the zinnias.

Think I will go do some more bug hunting!

Sherry - you get some of the most beautiful "bugs" in your neck of the woods. And great shots, too! I'm envious. I'm sure if I had more plants in my garden that attracts butterflies, I would probably do much better. Sigh.

Dear Mary,
A packet of marigold seeds will grow a host of butterfly plants. Plus ypu can save seed and have them every year. Zinnas too are easy and butterflies love them!
When I plant I think, "Will the butterflies like these?"
The photos thrill me too!
