Dear Chris, I was not able to see her rise but I did get to see her set! The freezing mist over night did not cause any harm. Six degrees Fahrenheit for me is about -15 Celsius for you...cold. In the American Indian tradtion the wolf is known as the teacher. I am willing to learn! Happy Full Moon! Sherry
Dear Meggie, One of my girlfriends has a wolf as a "pet". Her first wolf, Mountain, and I did know each other. An incredible animal. After he died I would see him in my dreams. I respect the wolf. It was a gorgeous moon set! Sherry
Dear Lisa, I am a Moon girl! I watch the moon as often as I am able. In the summer when it is warm I like to sit outside under the full moon. I call it takiing a "moon bath." I did not bathe this morning but I did sit quietly and spend some time with the Full Moon. This evening she looked so big when she rose. she seemed far in the Northeast too. Come Summer she will rise in the Southeast. Moon lore is very interesting too. So much to learn! Sherry
Dear Lisa, Have you ever tried gardening by the moon? It is very interesting. I do try to do my planting of root vegetables in the dark of the moon. For a couple of years I used a calender that was called "Gardening by the Moon". It told when to plant what and the best times for harvest. Glad you were able to see miss moon. I thought she looked extra big last night. This mornings moon set was incredible. Sherry
Dear Mari-Nanci, I walked the camera on the tripod out onto the front walk. The moon was shining through my neighbor's trees. I thought it was a beautiful sight. Keep taking pictures! Sherry

It has been so cloudy here during the night I haven't seen much of this moon. I like your pictures. Happy Howling, I mean Wolf Moon.
