New Day

I approached this morning as if it was the first time. I was awed by the sky.

Scanning the front maple with my binoculars I saw the female Hairy Woodpecker. I ran outside for a better view.
I watched the Cardinals come and go as if I had never seen them before.
This day is full of possibilities.
I am awake and aware.

Dear Sprite,
Keeping the wonder of the "ordinary" is so important to me. Each minute of each day is different. It is how I keep my "eye" to continue to "see".
The Moon during the day is always a delight. I enjoy watching the Moon rise and set but in the winter it is too cold for me to be outside for very long.
The Moon seems so large right now.
Thank you for sharing in the beauty of the day.
Moon beams and star dust,
