Spring?

The first Robin has always been my sign of Spring. Now that they are over wintering here I am not sure how I will know when Spring has sprung. The daffodiles and tulips are emerging, yet they do that sometimes long before Spring is really here. It is 62 degrees out, sunny with a southerly breeze, I went outside to see if Spring has sprung.
The bee on a spent rose stem could be my sign.
A seed floating and landing on the greening grass could be my sign,
maybe balloons flying over the house.
Has Spring actually sprung?

Hello Q. I haven't seen any bees yet. I agree it is difficult to know when spring actually arrives because the days are so changeable.

Hi Chris,
I do think early Spring has sprung!
Two more signs this evening, my husband put on his walking shorts and migrating geese were headed north! I know we easily can have snow and freezing temperatures but I am writing today down as the first day of Spring!

I just read a comment by you... "I saw Geese migrating North this evening. They were very high up, near the crescent moon." in another blog. What a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful word picture you painted! I love it.

And coming here, I see you post amazing photos of Nature. You are very gifted, with your camera, my Dear.

Dear Sprite,
As I went out onto the deck to see if Spring had sprung I asked for a sign. The Dove on the wire stood up and shook. From Miss Dove came this feather. It floated in the air and I was so awed, tears filled my eyes. I was not able to see so I just took pictures, blinded by my tears. Thus when I saw the photos of the floating feather I was very pleased. I find I often need reassurance that what I am doing is what the universe wants me to do, take pretty pictures!
The Dove gave the sacred gift of the feather and Spring gave me a photo of it. Now I can share the beauty of the feather with you.
New life, new beginnings,
bird songs,
happy Spring.

Dear Sprite,

Oh Bee!
I do love the birds and the bees!
I love the flowers and the trees.
I love the seeds that float on the breeze.

Oh Bee!
You are early this year.
There is no sweet nectar my dear.
Ice and snow, bitter cold are near!
Here are sweet flowers, have no fear.

Oh Bee!
Thank you for coming by.
Shall we dance in warm Spring skies?
Is there sweet honey in your hive?

Oh Bee!
