Painting With Light

Inside Mother Nature paints my walls with light.

From sunrise to sunset the colors change.
Outside she glitters the snow
and the air.

Brilliant pics! Untouched snow looks just perfect and I love the shapes!

I was just looking at the snow last night (we had a big storm come through which left us with about 2 ft)... noticing the beauty of it. Beautiful pictures.

Dear Chris,
The shadows were fantasic this morning. We have very cold temps so the snow was covered with ice crystals. Truely incredible.
I like the way each snowfall this winter has been so different. I am ready for the snow to stop now and for warmer temperatures to come. The moisture is good. I just am anxious for Spring.
Thank you for your compliment. Taking photos is fun and challenging. The light was beautiful and I wanted to be able to convey that.

Dear Deb,
Oh my, 2 feet of snow is lots of snow. We had 4 inches and I thought we had lots of snow, 24 inches would pretty much put me into hibernation! You are a brave girl!
Thank you! I do enjoy taking the photos. It is nice when what I see and what the camera sees are similiar! I do lots of inside decorating with light. I am very fond of shadows.

Dear Sprite,
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I was hoping someone would gasp!
I love to gasp. My all time favorite experience. When I gasp I know I have seen or heard or smelled a feeling! That is what I hope to convey with the photos, feelings.
I also wanted to show how beauty is everwhere, in the light and in the shadows.
I gasped when I read your comment!
I saw you see me!
You are beautiful.
