A Few Butterflies

A Tawny Emperor
A Pipevine Swallowtail, new to my yard.

I think it is a Dusky wing but I do not know which one.
Another new to me.

A Buckeye

I am keeping the camera close as I plant for the butterflies.

That Black Swallowtail looks so pretty next to those colors. If I don't see these B-Flys in my yard, great to see them in someone elses yard! Thanks for sharing. Great way to start my day.

Hi Ron,
I just read last night there are 196 different species of butterflies in my area! If I could see all of them I would be so pleased.
I also read how the butterflies are a good indicator on how healthy an enviroment is. The more I learn about the butterflies the more I know I have to learn!
It is cool this morning, the butterflies will not be up and moving for awhile.
Catch up time for me.
