Oh dear!

The dreaded Squash Bug eggs have appeared!
I picked them off.
The squirrels are eating the sunflower heads.
The Question Mark wants rotting fruit.
I am out. The Raccoons ate it all.
I have some nice blueberries.
Maybe I could set them out in the sun and they would rotten up.
The Cabbage White has no cabbage to eat.
The bunnies ate it.

Sherry,

So sorry to hear you have squash bug eggs.

I adore this white butterfly, is looks almost like powdery fur. It is lovely.

Dear Sprite,
Oh well, I will pick eggs off until I can no longer get them all.
I have squashes in three locations so maybe they will attack just the one area. I hope they leave the pumpkin alone.
Cabbage White is pretty. There are other white butterflies but Cabbage Whites sort of keep the others away.
I am learning so much about the behavior of the butterflies. Like birds they do territories!
So much to learn. I do observe the Backyard Butterflies and see when they emerge in the mornings and and when they bask and when they feed.
My head is full of butterflies!
