Anticipation

I awoke before sunrise.
I was full of joyful
anticipation.
I quickly dressed and did my morning chores.
I wanted to be outside when the birds woke.
I wanted to sit with the morning.
I did not know what today's event would be.
I did not know what I was waiting for.
Perhaps it is Autumn.
Perhaps Summer is dancing her last dance.
I do not know.
I am full of joyful anticipation.

Great photos!

According to the weather guy, it's to be high 80's or 90, the next few days. Perhaps it's summer's last hurrah!

I am definitely anticipating autumn, Sherry!

Dear Pat,
We also are to have 80's later in the week.
The air smells different as we get closer to the equinox. The leaves have begun to change too. Today the wind is gusty and so full of energy.
Autumn is lovely in Missouri.
I can almost hear the crunch of leaves.

Oh My Goodness Girlfriend!

You capture my heart with that cloud picture, ahhhhhhhh.

I just love that Autumn is near. And! The leaves are changing colors. I too, can smell the Autumn in the air. I love that, don't you?

Very nice pose for Mrs. Cardinal.

What a lovely morning you had, thank you.

Much Love,

Dear Sprite,
It has been awhile since I took cloud photos. The sky was lovely.
I am still learning my new camera. It will take me awhile to feel comfortable.
I too am looking forward to the crisp mornings of Autumn. We will have Indian Summer too! Harvest Moon is coming up and apples....lots of apples.
I was pleased Mrs. Cardinal came to see what I was doing. I have not spent very much time with my birds since I have been home from vacation.
We will have so much fun playing in the leaves. Autumn...my second favorite time of the year.
Much Love,
Sherry

Dear Mary,
The female Cardinal is my favorite of all the birds. If I was a bird I would want to be her!
