Hummingbird in the zinnias

I put my gardening apron on.
I was going to spend some time
with the Rosemary.

I had my tools in my pockets.
The camera in my hand.
As I approached the Rosemary I saw movement.
Hummingbird was in the zinnias.
I sat down in the grass.
I did not want to bother her.
I just wanted to watch.

Dear Lynne,
I am trying to spend as much time as I can with the Hummingbirds. I will miss them when they leave.
I do enjoy watching them in the flowers.

Dear Catherine,
Thank you. I just sat down on the grass and watched her for about 15 minutes. She is just a joy!

These photos are fantastic! Even though I have my hummingbird feeder up & red flowers :-} ... the hummers haven't been back to visit.

Glad you enjoy them too!
Please remind me they will be back when I miss them this winter.

Dear Chris,
Thank you. I know the Hummingbirds are not in England. I hope you have enjoyed them here all summer. We can share that way. Birds and butterflies in your gardens are different than in mine. I enjoy seeing yours!

Dear Deb,
How strange! They would have had such a great time in your gardens too.
Don't give up. Maybe next year a new generation will find you.
