A Small Harvest

After the dew had dried
I cut some basil,

some Rosemary,

and some lavender.

A small harvest basket of herbs
for the kitchen table.

This is such a lovely harvest gathering, and a wonderful post.

I love white butterfly on the lavender.

Dear Sprite,
Having a few sprigs of fresh Rosemary and Lavender is so nice. I still have plenty dried from last year so I have my herbs for this winter. The basil I will make into pesto.
Cabbage White seems to like the Lavender...
Doing a "harvest" is part of my Harvest Moon Day ritual every year. This little harvest basket was just perfect.
I am gathering seeds too...

Dear Barbara,
Thank you. I would be honoured to be linked with you!
How nice it is getting to know you.
The butterflies will leave soon but we will have birds and snow and all sorts of fun.
