Dear Cathy, I think the birds are just somewhat skittish since I do not spend much quiet time with them in the summer. I seem to do butterflies and Hummingbirds. Before long tho they will know me again and I will be able to be up close like I like. The deer never let me get close at all! They eat the vegetable garden while I sleep. Sherry
Hi Mon@rach, You would think so! Come Winter I will be able to sit on the deck and the birds will just come and go regardless of me! Now they are so skittish... Sherry
Dear Sprite, Seldom do Mr. and Mrs. feed at the same time. I am happy to be eye to eye with the Cardinals again. As you remember the birds kept me going all winter last year after the butterflies and Hummmingbirds left. Hopefully I will not be as depressed this year! With Doves and Cardinals and Wrens and you I am sure to stay joyfilled. Hugs, Sherry

Oh Sherry, you know I just love the Cardinals and the Doves. I like that you posted Mr. Cardinal and now Mrs. Cardinal on this one.
Thank you!
Much love,
