Common Checkered Skipper

I was so pleased the tiny white mum attracted a butterfly. The Common Checkered Skipper flew from flower to flower.
Many of the flowers are finished blooming. I will think of what I can plant for next year's November butterflies.
I had not seen a Checkered Skipper before.
She is small, only 3/4 inch across.
