Festival of Light

It is sixty degrees out at 9:30pm. Excellent temperature for nighttime photos.

We decided to do our lighting ceremony tonight.
Simple evergreen wreaths remind me of the sacred circle of light.

Hi Deb,
As the days grow shorter and shorter the Christmas lights remind me that very soon Solstice will be here.
My husband and I enjoy driving about our city and looking at all the different Christmas lights.
When we approach our corner and I see our wreaths I am always pleased.
'Tis a beautiful time of year.

Dear Sprite,
I so hope those that drive by the house are filled with joy and wonderment.
The two lane street in front of the house does have some traffic.
I always send forth blessings to those that travel by.
My husband did the lantern wreaths so I can turn them on with an inside switch. The large house wreaths I turn on with a remote!
We used to do timers but sometimes, like today, I want my wreaths on when it is cloudy or snowy out.
I like life to be easy and beautiful!
Soon, very soon Yule will be here. December is full of happy, holy, holly days!
Love,
