Hi Mon@rch, I was very happy to see the Painted Ladies again. The Gray Hairstreaks are so tiny!! My butterfly book says there are over 400 different species of butterflies in my area. I am far from 400! Sherry
Dear Mary, I do have lots of butterflies in the yard each day! They come and go. Watching them is just a delight. The stands of zinnias have been a great nectar source. They like lots of flowers. Over seeding the Day Lilies with zinnia seed works every year. Sherry

Hi Kate,
The Pearl Crescents are very charming. Not too skittish either.
Thank you.
I do love the butterflies...

The butterflies just take my breath away. I never grow tired of watching them.

I love that one with the crescent in the background, too! Your yard must be loaded with beauties!
