Dear Barbara,
Thank you. I apologize for how long it is! I was somewhat carried away... As I learn to do the slide show maybe I will get better at it.
I live in a neighborhood in the city. Slowly I am planting a butterfly habitat. The birds also seem to enjoy the berries and the feeders. Come Winter I will do more birds. These are butterfly days. They will be leaving as the cooler north air moves in.
May you alos have a delightful weekend.

Dear Mon@rch,
Thank you. It did get a bit long!!!
I am hoping to do "Slide show Fridays". Not only will this help me remember how to do them but I can go through the photos of the week past and do my back up disc. This should make the end of month easier for me.
I looked at the video recorders and decided to stick with stills for awhile. Your videos are very fun to watch. I still want to learn how to use my recorder too. The city has too much background noise for my liking. I do not know how to record just my birds!

Dear Cathy,
I was concerned about the downloading of this huge file!
Hope you enjoy the slide show at your desk.
The first few photos did not get in with the music! Oh well, maybe next Friday I will get the slide show "right".

Dear Laurahinnj,
Lots of butterflies this past week! I seem to be smitten by all the Swallowtails this year. I have other butterflies that come I just do not take their photos. Next week I will remember to do so.
My husband thinks I need more birds and more mammals in the slide show!
As the seasons change I am sure the photos will change too...
It is fun to do.

Dear Sprite,
I do love the butterflies! Every Autummn I wonder how I will survive the Winter without them...
I know I always do make it through, the birds and the glory of the snow help.
Having dear friends here is my greatest joy.
Thank you for enjoying the slide show.

Butterflies and gentle ways,
Healthy and wealthy and wise.
May we have glorious days,
And answer the silent cries.

Nameste,
Sherry

I'm new to your blog and I love all your pictures. I think it's quite unique in this day and age to find someone who will sit quietly long enough to take all these wonderful photos - thanks.

Those monarchs look like beautiful stained glass. Is that bird at the end of your video a nuthatch?

I not only loved your slide video, but thoroughly enjoyed the music, too. Thanks, Sherry.

Dear Eleanor,
So happy to meet you! I shall pop over to your journal.
I do sit quietly on the deck as well as walk about the yard each day. Taking pictures is fun for me.
The last bird is a Nuthatch. As Autumn comes in and the butterflies leave I will take more photos of birds. They keep my spirits up during the Winter. With leaves on the trees the birds are somewhat hard to see.
Welcome, glad you enjoyed the slide show.

Dear Mary C,
Thank you! The slide shows are fun to make. I just downloaded a favorite cd for next week's slide show. Hope I can figure out how to get it to play with the photos...
Always learning something new.

Dear Jayne,
Your Middle Name Game post was so nice. I am enjoying getting to know you better.
The Slide Shows are fun to do. This winter I hope to do some fun ones with all sorts of birds and snow!

I think that one butterfly was doing a handstand! xo nita

Dear Nita,
LOL!! The Swallowtails are so funny. They are big on little flowers and almost seem to hover!
I love the way they are delicate but strong at the same time.
Sending you lots of joys,
Sherry

Again, my jaw is hanging. I am so proud of you Sherry! This post is five stars. Perfect arrangement, perfect music, perfect artful eye. YOU ROCK!

Did I see grasshopper love?

It's not too long...I could have watched for ten more minutes, at least.

Hugs,
Mary

Dear Mary,
I am so glad you liked the slide show. They really are fun to do.
Glad it was not too long for you too, I was concerned.
Yes, grasshopper love! I was rather sneaky with that one...
If all goes well I will try to do a slide show on Fridays. Sort of a week in review thing.
Enjoy your cool down. Autumn is almost here.
Butterfly wings,
Sherry

How gorgeous & so much fun to make a video showcasing all the beauty that surrounds you!

Dear Deb,
I am hoping to do a slide show every Friday. If this works out I will be able to go through the week's photos and share some that did not work into a post. Then I will back up photos and be ready for the next week. It is fun too.
